Nicolas Rossignol is one of the best examples of a new generation of Burgundy wine makers whose great wines lie in the future rather than the past, entering the fray in 1994. Born in 1974, he represents the 5th generation of vine growers on the soils of Volnay. After completing his technical formation at enology school in Beaune, Nicolas put his knowledge into practice, staging at Domaine Joseph Voillot in Volnay, Domaine Louis Latour in Ardeche and Domaine Vieux Telegraphe in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Anxious to learn other farming and winemaking techniques, he went to work in South Africa at Domaine Boschendal Stellenbosch in 1995, followed by Château Cardonne, owned by Château Lafite-Rothchild in Bordeaux. Upon his return home to his family’s Domaine (Rossignol- Jeanniard) Nicolas began vinifying in 1994.

Join us for the Celebration of the Arts Gala…
One of Howard County’s premier fundraising events and an important showcase for local performing and visual artists who help enhance our quality of life. Enjoy a fun-filled evening of art and entertainment featuring culinary delights courtesy of local restaurants, a fine art auction of local artwork, and incredible performances by rising and guest stars. This event is our main source of private and corporate funding and helps to support our grant and scholarship programs, as well as our education programs for children and adults throughout the year.
Food Sponsors for the Celebration of the Arts gala are invited to create an artistic display table to showcase their delectable edibles at our signature event. Each year, we recognize three food sponsors with outstanding presentation awards.
All of the proceeds from this annual fundraising gala are reinvested in the community to advance the arts. We are very proud of our ability to give back so much to the community, but we cannot do so without the support of our local businesses and business leaders.
